While my early work is architectural photography in a stricter sense, the theme of constructed space continues to dominate my recent photographs. My subject matter now is “the scene” that situates itself somewhere between the familiarity of a recognizable place and the graphically abstract, where subject matter is reduced to line, color and texture. Often with a conspicuous foreground of asphalt, these photographs can appear as stage sets awaiting an actor or suggesting the lingering remnants of a human act.
